PhD Student (Joined July 2019)
Namrata is from Nepal. She did B.Sc. and M.Sc. in chemistry from Tribuvan University in Nepal. After working for some years as a Chemist in SR Drug Laboratories, she moved to USA for graduate studies. She completed M.S. in chemistry from University of Texas at El Paso. During her study, she worked on synthesis and characterization of Pt(II) alkynyl complexes of triphenylamine derivatives. Later, she joined University of New Mexico for PhD study. She was working as a graduate student in the lab of Prof. Ramesh Giri. Currently, she is a graduate student in the Prof. Le's lab.
Undergraduate Student (Joined September 2019)
Anthony is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is currently a sophomore at the University of New Mexico and is looking to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry and Applied Mathematics. Prior to joining Prof. Le's lab, Anthony was an undergraduate intern in the McCormick Lab at the University of New Mexico. He plans to attend graduate school after he finishes his undergraduate degree and further pursue research as a career.
Graduate Student (Joined November 2019)
Tan is from Las Vegas, Nevada. He started out at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) and completed his B.Sc. in Biochemistry (Medicinal Concentration) at Arizona State University, then his M.Sc. in Chemistry at The University of Memphis. After completing his PhD, he wants to teach Organic Chemistry at CSN and coach Cross Country/Track & Field at his alma mater.
Undergraduate Student (Joined January 2020)
Elizabeth is from Albuquerque New Mexico, and is in her third year as an undergraduate student at the University of New Mexico. She is pursuing a B.Sc degree in Biochemistry and Spanish. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she plans to continue on to medical school to pursue biomedical research.
